Berlin - Warsaw - Vienna
In this project scientists of the University of Vienna, Warsaw and Berlin (HU) analyse the construction and dynamic sampling of spatial structures in literature from the 19th to the 21st century. Therefore they selected three historical periods:
- Modernity and its history (19th century and turn of the century)
- Postwar periods (after 1918 and 1945)
- Present (since 1989/90)
A diverse array of workshops, courses, publications and a "Herbstuniversität" are planned. The framework of the "Central European Network for Teaching and Research in Academic Liaison (CENTRAL)" interconnect the Universities of Berlin (HU), Budapest, Prague, Warsaw and Vienna. The cooperation is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Ministry of Education (BMBF).
