From 2014 to 2017 Alev Cakir was a university assistant (prae-doc) of the research platform Mobile Cultures and Societies. She was the researcher in the project "'Migrant' Female Entrepreneurs in Vienna: The Role of Transnational Activity in Social Positioning and Mobility."
