Dr.in Wiebke Sievers

Dr. Wiebke Sievers is a research fellow at the Institute for Urban and Regional Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and a visiting researcher at the Chair for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History, Exile and Migration at the European University Viadrina.
She is working on her habilitation project on "Migration Literature - A revolution in the literary field? A literary-sociological analysis of literature in the context of migration in Austria", based on the results of the project "Literature on the Move".
With Prof. Marco Martiniello from the University Liège she coordinates the standing committee "Superdiversity, Migration and Cultural Change" (DIVCULT) in the research network IMISCOE (Immigration, Integration and Social Cohesion in Europe). She is also a member of the IMISCOE Executive Board.
